Our History
The Rehoboth Christian Church of Virginia was planted in January of 2017 in Hampton, VA as an in-person church, but became a virtual congregation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
After realizing we were reaching more "unchurched" Christians and non-believers via our social media presence, we decided to maintain our identity as a "Church-without-Walls." Our assignment is to bring light into darkness for Jesus is the light of the world. We pray daily and teach every Wednesday evening with our American congregation, and instruct our Pakistan church every Friday morning (as it is evening in Pakistan). Our Sunday worship takes place virtually with persons in the United States, Africa, Europe, and we have supported our daughter church in Pakistan since 2020.
Our church's name is based on the passage of scripture found in Genesis 26:22, "For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land!"
Although we are a virtual church, our pastor is able to maintain close contact with those in our congregation via FaceTime, Facebook Messenger, text messaging, telephone, and personal visits to our members who are local and she makes periodic trips to our members in the New York area.

Our History
At Rehoboth Christian Church of Virginia, we believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe there is salvation only through faith in Jesus Christ and not works alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), and we believe the Holy Bible is the divinely-inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).
We have been commanded by Jesus to love one another, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:35)

The Rehoboth Christian Church of Virginia is led by an anointed preacher, teacher, singer, musician, author, and composer in the person of Pastor Frieda Smith. She is committed to serving the needs of our congregation and the community Worldwide.
Pastor Frieda is a singer, choir director, musician, composer and a playwright. She authored two inspirational books, "How to Successfully Break Out of Jail," and “Eleven Words," and two works of Christian Fiction, "Everything Will Be All Right: An Agape Love Story," and "This Too Shall Pass: An Agape Love Story."
She believes in ministering to people by means necessary, and will use all of her gifts in which to do so.
